How do I know what equipment that I need?
Depending on the type of equipment needed, a Doctor or Therapist would recommend the best type of equipment. If it is Complex Rehabilitation equipment such as a Custom Wheelchair, these products would be a team effort with contributions from The Doctor, Therapist and our Assistive Technology Professional (“ATP”). The Doctor prescribes for the need of the client. The Occupational and Physical Therapists work with the ATP to assure the client receives the most appropriate equipment for the mobility needs.
If your needs are for mobility within the home or in the community via wheelchair/patient lifts, ramps, scooters, automobility/driveability, stairway lifts, residential elevators and associated products, our team of experienced personnel can help on decisions and choices with these and other products.
